Romeo's Love Life

Goodness gracious! So much to say such little time. The other day young Romeo came to visit me and he was as jumpy with joy as a young jackrabbit in the spring. He said he had forgotten about Rosaline and the love he had felt for her, and oh was I pleased. He is far to young to be worried about such problems. But alas, my joy was lost as soon as it was found. Romeo was in love again, and with a Capulet of all people! This isn't the worst of it, he wanted ME to marry them! Me?! Marry two young lovers from feuding families?! So, obviously, I was in an extreme state of shock and I refused to do so. I would be killed in a most greusome way if I was to marry them and their families would simply call off the marriage and my work would be for not. Suddenly, a thought came to mind. Feuds similar in nature to the Capulets and Montagues have been ended and quickly forogtten with a few simple vows. If these young lovers were married... I could end this catastrophe. I would be known as the great hero that put a stop to the ever fighting Capulets and Montagues. So, putting their family differences aside for love, I agreed to join them in marriage. Tommorrow they will be wed and the fighting will finally cease.

  1. God give you good morrow, Friar. What say thou? Dost thou truly believe that Romeo will wise up so quickly?
